WLAYFC 2009 - 10

Our aims are to develop and foster football
within West Lothian for all age groups as
defined by the Scottish Youth Football
Association (SYFA). We are affiliated to
the South East Region, which is also
affiliated to the SYFA.
In contrast to other Associations, we
continue to grow both in terms of numbers
and status and for season 2009-10 we
now administer for 6 age groups (13's,
14's, 15's, 16's, 17's and 19's)
encompassing over 120 eleven-a-side
teams and over 2500 players
and officials.
We believe through SFA directives and
new coaching methods, players of all ages
can compete enthusiastically in a
controlled and organized environment.
Our hope is to develop every player at
every age group using their Skills,
Tactical Awareness, Physical
Strength and Mental Toughness
through competition. Our aim is that
the individual can be the best they
can and that the Association can
maintain the strong interest in
competitive eleven-a-side football in
West Lothian at all ability levels.
